Orthotics are removable inserts that are custom-made to your specific feet, creating a stable base and greater comfort when walking or running. One pair of inserts can be used in different pairs of shoes, so there’s no need to buy separate orthotics for all of your shoes.

What to Expect
If Dr. Varga thinks custom inserts can help you, he’ll let you know. We’ll schedule an appointment for your scan, which is totally non-invasive, painless and takes just a few minutes.
With your shoes and socks off, you will stand on the scanner one foot at a time. The scan will create a 3D rendering of your foot. These scans are transmitted to the lab, where your custom orthotics will be fabricated. When we get them back, we’ll make sure they fit and are comfortable for you.
We do not charge for the scans, so the only cost to you is for the orthotics themselves. These inserts are often covered by private health funds, so we recommend consulting with your plan representative for details.
